IntVeen visits Kalmar Factory in Polen
On March 12, Kees in’t Veen, Terry de Mello and Danny Huizer visited the Kalmer factory in Stargard, Poland, at the invitation of Kalmar.
Under the guidance of Maurice Butin Bik and Eric van der Hoeven, they received an extensive look at the production process and the technology behind these machines.
Maurice Butin Bik from Kalmar The Netherlands about the spreader
“The request from IntVeen to handle SWAB bodies in pairs is technically not simple. Due to the notch in the vertical pillar, extendable twistlock heads are required. Together with R&D in Sweden and IntVeen, we developed a new spreader, which has successfully passed a field test. Kalmar now has a complete range for all containers, including 45 ft double locking. We thank IntVeen for the collaboration in realizing this ‘missing link.”
Terry de Mello from IntVeen about the partnership
“Strong partnerships make the difference. Together with Kalmar, we continue to invest in innovation and efficiency to further strengthen our operations”
