IntVeen celebrates a significant milestone with its 200th truck
We recently introduced our 200th new truck into our fleet: a brand-new Volvo FH Aero 500 4x2 tractor unit. This milestone highlights our ongoing commitment to innovation and efficiency.
A first within our fleet
This anniversary truck is not just another addition to our fleet; it is the first Volvo FH Aero we have acquired. The driver of this new truck is Peter Versluis, who has been with IntVeen for 31 years and is one of our longest-serving drivers. With his dedication and expertise, he is an invaluable asset to our team. As a token of appreciation, we have given him the honor of driving this special truck.
Peter is thrilled with his new truck. “The Volvo FH Aero is a major step forward,” he says. “Thanks to the air-suspended front axle, it drives exceptionally well, and the spacious Globetrotter XL cabin offers outstanding comfort. Plus, I receive a lot of positive feedback on its sleek design!”
Built In-House
As part of our one-stop-shop concept for tank transport and tank container services, we have the expertise to fully customize our trucks. We do this for our customers as well as for our own distinctive blue-and-white fleet. The truck’s customization was handled by IntVeen Truckstyling, while the paintwork was completed by IntVeen Truck Painting.
Driving efficiently and sustainably
The Volvo FH Aero is designed for optimal aerodynamic performance. With a cab that is 24 centimeters longer than the standard FH and equipped with a fuel-efficient Turbo Compound engine, this truck contributes to lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions—a perfect match with our slogan: ‘Visibly better and smarter.’
A reliable partnership
Our long-standing collaboration with Volvo Group Truck Center is of great value to us. “We work seamlessly together,” says Managing Director Jeffrey in ’t Veen. “Thanks to our Volvo Gold service contract, all maintenance is fully taken care of, and the truck is monitored in real time. This helps us avoid unexpected costs and ensures our fleet is always in top condition.”
